Weekend

So this weekend was good. My dad, his girlfriend, Aunt Linda and my sister all came down to see my mother. We went to Trulucks on Friday night. They are close to the top in steak in Dallas. It is good to see family, especially during this time period. Mom was in good spirits as well.

On Saturday everyone came to my place. I showed them the Kinect. Even mom stood up to do bowling. The great thing about the Kinect is that anyone can play because there are no buttons to push. You jut act like the controller. In my new diet, the Kinect is going to be my exercise plan. I plan to get 30 minutes a day in. I find that ping pong raises my heart rate and I don't mind because it I fun. Afterwords we all went to the best restaurant in town, Rafains and it was good. That was my cheat meal for the week. I am beginning to like this diet.

Sunday me and my sister went to the mall to get clothes for mom. Since she has lost weight nothing fits her right. Holly and I plan on taking mom to our church's Christmas pageant. See mom is doing OK despite the cancer growing. We just know at some point she will become bed bound and then it will be a matter of month. Right now we are planning Thanksgiving and Christmas festivities. I think my sister and her family will come down for Christmas week as well. It should be fun as well. We shall see.
