Growing

Let's see. Brennon is growing and won't seem to stop. He is still as cute as ever and now has taken to actually reading. Pretty good at 2 1/2. Of course his speech is a little delayed, probably because he hears Spanish during the day and English at night. I think that is common for dual language learners. Brennon has also gotten better at the potty. He now goes number two in the potty more often which is terrific for us. Coaxing him with the iPad helps a lot. I think of it as a new parenting tool. He learns how to read from it and we can take it away if he needs discipline. I consider it a good tool for learning and interaction, even though he may end up preferring it to humans. But once he goes to school that will probably change from comps to people. No worries.

Work is finally slowing a little. I am happy and love working from home one to two days a week. Hollys work has sped up since she is getting new autistic kids on her class. Her anxiety levels increase from all that screaming. I can see why most teachers quit in that position. Mom is doing well. Her birthday is coming up March 4th so that should be something. I am thinking about what to do for it. She says she wants nothing but you know that is what she always says.

What are my thoughts? I have been thinking about automation recently. Home and car and robots. Cars will be driving themselves in the next 10-20 years. Home robots will also be around as well. There is going to be more and more free time given to us as a result of this new lifestyle. It just feels like there is a lot of hope out there. I even envision tiny robots swimming in my bloodstream giving me daily liposuction. After this fat season is over I need it. Yeah, my diet has failed. Time to take a break and do something different. More tests.
