Welcome to my weekly update. What has been going on with me? Dieting, playing Star Wars The Old Republic and trying to figure out what God is telling me. First I shall start off with the dieting aspect. I have called my cheat and treat diet a failure and have moved on, even though it is still in the app store for anyone who want to give it a go. So come the new year I started a simple low cal diet: switching from pepperoni sandwiches to turkey sandwiches for lunch, drinking more water and not eating as much for dinner. I started using the Kinect a little more, although recently I have foregone that. Need to get back on the exercise wagon. So far I have lost 5 pounds. Better than my one pound a week on the cheat and treat.
In my spare time I have started playing Star Wars the Old Republic and I have to say that game scratches me where I itch. It is fun to walk around entire planets carrying dual light sabers and solving missions. Then to play with my friends and use force powers is fun as well. I recently got a ship and can now fly from planet to planet. If you have a relatively boring life I can see how a person can be consumed by it. But what I do is play late at night when the fam is in bed, that way I still get quality time with the family. Brennon is even bigger and I can barely lift him now. He is so cute. Anyways, if you want fun I recommend swtor.
The next paragraph delves into spirituality. On Wednesday night of last week I awoke in the middle of the night, about 3 in the morning. Apparently I was having a dream and in that dream someone screamed: Isaiah 58:1. I then awoke with that verse in my head and looked it up. Now I am a believer in God who believes God isn't a hands off God but someone who tries to influence those who listen to him. So of course I am into analyzing this and trying to figure out what I am to do. So far the closest interpretation is that I should join the church choir. Not sure though. More tests. Everyone have a good week.
