Dancing Mustache

So this weekend Holly and I went to a club and went dancing. It was at the Gaylord Texan hotel called the Glass Cactus. It was a nice club for the over 30 crowd. They had a cover band with a good guitarist whose style reflected my own. I thought that could have been me up there. Anyways it was fun.

I have grown a mustache in the meantime and am participating in Movember. It is an organization that raises money for cancer awareness. I tell you it is weird having a mustache. It has grown on me an I am starting to like it. I think it is "striking". Of course it throws people off guard when they see it. There is some humor in it all because most people think it is weird. Of course I don't care, but it is funny gauging peoples reactions. Like I am Headwound Harry from SNL.

In mom news she is doing fine. Hospice comes in once a week to see if she needs any meds. For thanksgiving I am thinking of taking the moms to Rafains again. It is easier than cooking turkey and goin through all of that for just us. I am inviting all to come celebrate Christmas with us. Might as well. I know my sister is planning on coming down with the kids at some point in time. Anyways, I am constantly busy, which makes time fly, but that is life. See la vie
