Faith, Liberty, Friendship

Hello fellow readers. Welcome to another edition of my weekly blog post. This week saw a holiday that was spent doing errands and not much else. The errands were as follows - I had blood work at the doctors and had my van's brakes fixed and window fixed. This time I was surprised how quick the doctor got the lab results back. It was all good news. I had taken myself off the statins last year because they made me feel weak. My doctor didn't like that, but my cholesterol actually came back normal and lower this time at 182. My blood sugar was also normal at 86, so no diabetes for me. I makes me feel good to know even though I am fat I am healthy. Of course this year I have started eating better to lose weight. 7 pounds down so far. That probably has something to do with it. I am going to keep at it all.

In other news Brennon has entered a world of potty training and I have to say he is doing well at it. We haven't gone no pullups yet but this Monday he enjoyed big boy pants and is going number two in the potty. I hear once they are out of pullups it is like getting a raise. Brennon has proved to me that he is really smart. Yesterday he decided to clean the house. He picked up my phone, opened the living social app and clicked buy now on a deal for maid service. After it auto charged me did I realize what had happened. I was ok with it because Holly does a lot of work to keep the house cleaned. I guess Brennon is a neat person.

Mom enjoys visits from Brennon and we visit on Saturdays and eat lunch with her. She is the same and always surprises me. I have to give props to her assisted living place. They take care of her and she gets good meals and has friends there. I am starting to know the people's names I have been there enough. Anyways, all is well with me. I am in the midst of filing season at work so it is a busy time. Come March things will settle down, but I love my job anyways. I get a lot of respect there. That is all I ever wanted. Have a good week. Till next time...
